Enabling Homegroup for Networking
I have disabled HomeGroup in this build for tighter security & a quicker install. With that
said, If you wish to enable it, you'll need to go through and ensure that all the dependencies are enabled &
running. Here is a list of all the dependencies for both HomeGroup Provider & HomeGroup Listener.
I personally went through & enabled all dependencies, restarted the system & all is good
What service HomeGroup Provider needs to function properly:
* Function Discovery Provider Host (U) o HTTP (U) o Remote Procedure Call (RPC) (U) + DCOM Server Process Launcher (U) + RPC Endpoint mapper (U)
* Function Discovery Resource Publication (U) o HTTP (U) o Remote Procedure Call (RPC) (U) + DCOM Server Process Launcher (U) + RPC Endpoint mapper (U)
* Network List Service (U) o Network Location Awareness (U) + Network Store Interface Service (U) # NSI proxy service driver.
