xp-AntiSpy 3 - утилита для отключения подозрительных или лишних функций Windows XP/Vista, таких как автообновления системы, отправка отчета об ошибках, автозапуск MSN Messenger или идентификации плеера, а также многое другое.
Программа представляет собой удобную оболочку для доступа к ключам реестра, отвечающим за отключение этих и многих других подозрительных функций операционной системы.
Независимо от того, для каких целей вы используете компьютер, существуют некоторые параметры Windows, которые включены по умолчанию и которые просто необходимо изменить.
XP-Antispy уже после первого запуска предлагает избавиться от подобных "лишних" настроек.
К ним относятся отключение модуля ''ALEXA", отключение поддержки удаленного рабочего стола в Explorer, отключение службы сообщений, запрет на автoмaтичecкoe oбнoвлeниe Internet Explorer. В программе есть подробное описание каждого из подобных модулей.
В последней версии улучшена функция отключения Java Script в Acrobat Reader, добавлена поддержка Internet Explorer 8, добавлена возможность отключения программы улучшения Windows (ceip), исправлены ошибки.

For example, there's a service running in the background which is called 'Automatic Updates'. I don't know what this service transfers from my machine to other machines on the internet, especially the MS ones. So I play it safe and disable such functions. If you like, you can even disable these functions manually, by going through the System and checking or unchecking some checkboxes. This will take you approximately half an hour. But why wast time when a little neat utility can do the same in 1 minute? This utility was successfully tested by lots of users, and was found to disable all the known 'Suspicious' Functions in WindowsXP. It's customiseable, but comes up with the Default settings, which are recommended.
